From the Rocky Mountains to the World's Top Golf Destinations
Club origins date back to 1892 and Baltray Championship Links was designed in 1938 by the renowned Tom Simpson. The course is laid out in two loops and is located near the historic town of Drogheda. Home to the 2004 & 2009 Irish Open.
**You could easily nickname Baltray "The Beast of the East". County Louth is a fantastic links experience 45 mins north of Dublin. Magnificently quick & pure greens will highlight any errand approach shot or poor putt. From every teebox, what you see is what you get. The short par 4's can play as tricky if not more difficult as the long holes if you don't select the right club to play in from the fairway. No unfair hidden bunkers at Baltray and the welcome & Guinness are "Mighty"!**
