Stanley Thompson 1928 design, Canada's premier course architect, used his expert talent when he designed the original 18. The course sits along the Bow River under the snow-capped peaks of Sulphur Mountain and Mount Rundle. Set in the heart of Canada's Rocky Mountains, golfers of all skill level are constantly amazed by its panoramic challenge and magnificent layoff.

**Certain courses I hold near and dear to my heart in Ireland & Canada. Banff is certainly one of them! After a birdie at the 1st and a cool experience with Moma Bear and her 3 cubs while on the 8th and 9th, there is a reason why Banff is one of Canada's best! Many would rate this as the best, it's up to you to visit and see for yourself. A must play for any golfer!!!**
