Founded in 1780, Royal Aberdeen is the sixth oldest golf club in the world and its famous Balgownie Links was originally designed by Archie Simpson. The course runs out and back along the shores of the North Sea, with the outward nine, which cuts through majestic dune formations, being particularly highly regarded. A traditional old links course, well bunkered with undulating fairways, Balgownie offers a great mix of holes and a truly terrific finish.
